Karly has been absolutely exceptional and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She resolved not only my son's chronic coccyx pain issue after a year of doing the rounds with other physios and a neurosurgeon who failed to make any difference to his pain levels or quality of life, but also my own longstanding pubic symphysis dysfunction. I have battled with this for 18 month intervals at various times over the last 16 years. Karly was unfailingly positive/upbeat, incredibly informed and within a month of us talking with her and understanding the truly wholistic nature of our ailments, both my son' s pain and my own completely disappeared along with our fear about our injury. It felt like a true miracle which came from understanding the complex emotional/psychological/anatomical etc basis of our issues and applying a range of solutions and tools to address them. I never thought we could achieve this outcome, let alone exclusively by telehealth, which for us living in rural NSW is such a blessing. Karly has consistently gone the extra mile to ensure she supported us and has continued to show great care and compassion (as well as humour and prodigious knowledge) in the ongoing management of our family's health issues. And my son wants to add that Karly is "very helpful and very happy"! THANK YOU KARLY!!! Catherine W. Armidale NSW

I cannot speak highly enough of Alison Hui. After more then 6 months of pain, several urologist and doctors visits which resulted in dead ends and the ‘you’ll just have to live with it’ spiel I’m so glad I came to pay her a visit. As I came to learn, pelvic pain can effect more then 1 in 12 men but it’s so poorly understood. But Alison really shinned a light on what was going on and helped create a treatment plan which included making me aware of my triggers and stopping the cycle that was leading to the pain. Very grateful to have my life back and cannot recommend Alison and team highly enough!

I saw two other women's health physio's after the birth of my baby, prior to finding Angela. I had basically almost given up, but she solved issues I'd had for over a year in just two sessions. I can't recommend her highly enough, I felt so empowered after speaking with her and saw immediate, profound results. Cherie is also fantastic for pilates, one of the best instructors I've ever had (and I've been doing pilates for over a decade!). AJ physio is well worth the investment in your health.

I've received fantastic care from Alison Hui at this clinic for my pelvic pain problems, after having wasted months seeing urologists who didn’t seem even slightly interested in actually helping me heal this problem. I could tell from my first consultation how helpful it was, and so I’d recommend to all men suffering from similar issues to consider a visit.

AJ must stand for Absolute Joke. If you care about your health go elsewhere because they certainly don’t and here is why. My appointment was canceled 2 hours prior due to the phsyio being ill and they apologized. I understand that sort of thing happens and so I informed the receptionist that I was in pain and that it had worsened over the past few days and so I really needed to see someone today. It was 3pm and I was told a flat no. I asked to speak to the owner, Angela, who returned my call me an hour later. Angela was patronizing and rude to me because apparently I was being unreasonable to expect another phsyio to be available. I disagreed. When I asked why there was no contingency plan for when a physio was sick that seemed to push Angela over the edge and she responded snidely that they are only a clinic of 6. Exactly - that means 5 other physios could have taken urgent patients - but no. I don’t work in the health care profession but I have certainly stayed back later than normal on many occasions and so why can’t a physio?! Such an awful experience which came from a perfectly reasonable request. I cannot understand how this place is in business with this attitude. Totally unprofessional.

I had a shoulder problem and which Hector was able to sort out for me almost immediately. It was the best massage I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I have a congenital abnormality in my right hip (the bone is the wrong shape behind the ball joint at my thigh). Between 1996, when I first became symptomatic, and 2006, when I was referred by a hip surgeon to AJ Physio, I was treated at more than two dozen physiotherapy practices, in both the US and Australia. Treatment outcomes ranged from temporarily mildly beneficial at best to significantly irritating my symptoms at worst. I was essentially resigned to experiencing a low to medium level of right back/hip pain for the rest of my life. AJ Physio, and Angela James specifically, transformed my quality of life. She was the first physiotherapist to actually diagnose the specific muscular and soft tissue weaknesses that were increasing my discomfort. In addition to providing (incredibly painful but) massively beneficial hands-on therapy, she was able to give me a recipe of specific strengthening exercises to reduce my ongoing symptoms. After a catastrophic bicycle accident in 2015, Angela was able to get me back on track in a way my health plan physiotherapist couldn’t. I am not doubting that J Riley (below) was disappointed when she couldn’t see her physiotherapist, as arranged, but I would hate for someone who may benefit from the transformational, life-changing work that AJ Physio routinely undertakes to be dissuaded from making an appointment because of one patient’s disappointment at one physio’s illness on one particular day. Angela and her team do phenomenal work and I would encourage anyone who is looking for a specialist physiotherapist to make an appointment to see how they can make a difference in your life.

Excellent and professional advice and care. Pilates classes have helped me and my back become friends again.
