We used to love coming to Carbon but unfortunately the last few times have been so disappointing. The service last night was really slow - even though we were told we could only stay for 90 minutes, by 30 minutes in, we still hadn’t got our drinks or ordered starters. We were then told we might not have time to order the fish tacos. The food was below expectations with the tacos being pretty tasteless, smaller than before and now pretty steep in price (9). Other than the nice setting and convenient spot, it doesn’t have much going for it anymore.

The food here is so good, I loved every dish. Set up is very cute too. Some of the patrons questionable, but they can’t help it. Consider it ripe for people watching.
I had an amazing night out with my friends at Carbon! Margaritas were absolutely perfect. Good vibes and lovely atmosphere. The staff were really friendly, Julene looked after our table and helped us out with the menu so we followed her recommendations. Food was delicious. You must try Tuna Ceviche, the fish taco and Rib Eye!! Can’t wait to come back
The best Mexican I have ever went in Sydney. The food is so authentic and full of flavour. Tommy mix the best margaritas in town. Big thanks to the lovely team. Coming back for more.
Sunday lunch done right! 85 per person for bottomless margaritas and tacos!! Everything was really tasty and the service was great!!
Came here with friends for bottomless brunch. Toby was very accomodating and entertaining for our group. We were able to have a laugh with him and just made our stay very pleasant. I enjoyed my experience at Carbón, especially the freshness of the soft taco shell.
It was good but the tacos ended up soggy if you didn't eat them ASAP. Fish tacos were great but mushroom a close second. Also I was expecting hard shell tacos but that's not a major issue. Margarita was fantastic and my friends non alcoholic one was perfect too.
Always a great buzz in Carbon, lovely food and staff are always accommodating. It’s the perfect venue for after work margaritas and tacos.
