This is the first true PET FRIENDLY hotel that I have found on the coast, They accommodated us and our cat with open and welcome arms. Everywhere else states pet friendly but really is only DOG FRIENDLY. This motel has Very friendly, helpful, welcoming and kind staff, room was perfect for us and more important it was perfect for our cat. Very close to everything. Thank you blue pelican for making our mini holiday enjoyable we will be back! Nina, Luke and Rocket.

Infested with cockroaches - avoid at all costs. Upon our arrival we were met with a lovely receptionist who was warm, friendly and accomodating, so much so that I was willing to overlook the broken fridge in the room, despite the fact it was an amenity we had paid for as part of our charge. That evening after arriving back to the room late, we went straight to sleep. At approx 2-3am I was awoken by something crawling on my legs. I woke up and inspected the bed to find that there were cockroaches in the bed. I started inspecting the room more closely and found cockroaches in the bathroom, running across the floor of the room and in our luggage. I also noticed mould on one of the pillows on the bed. By this stage, my skin was crawling, so at 7.5 months pregnant and desperate for a night's sleep, I had to sleep in my car. The next day I showed the photos to the lovely woman on reception who was apologetic but asked me to follow up with the owner directly in my request for refund. When I did contact the gentleman the next day, I was swiftly brushed off and told to contact booking.com. They have now encouraged me to reach out to you directly to follow up. Since then, there has been absolutely no apology or any offer of compensation for our horrific stay at this property
Kim is an extremely compassionate person, we were in a tough situation and she was welcoming and lovely. The rooms are nice, and clean and pet friendly is a big plus! Thanks guys!
I needed to stay somewhere close to the hospital after being discharged and this beautiful little place really did everything they could even the tiniest details were seen to as I needed a little help. Huge thanks to the staff for being attentive my every need and assisting me with all I enquired about and more. Such a cool little hideaway with great amenities and locally based places to gather your needs. Busses and the bowls club does a good meal and was always a nice place to go for a cold one. Thanks for all the kindness and thoughtful staff making it a home away from home!
Thank you so much Kim. We called last minute because the place we needed to stay at did not work out because we did not plan ahead so after calling all PET FRIENDLY accomodation on goodle after travelling 8 hours this place was only one that actually was PET FRIENDLY. The room was neat and tidy and we had no issues. Kim was also so friendly and most helpful. We will never forget and recommend to everyone. Much appreciated and would always visit back.
