Lovely park. So many beautiful plants and plenty in bloom. Kid friendly (just keen an eye on them near the lake), plenty of picnic areas. Can't wait until the playground is finished!

Lovely new playground with toilets not too far away. Better for younger kids as there is only a couple of climbing things for older children. The gardens are a great place to walk through with the kids.

Lovely environment to see the ducks or just have a slow walk with the kids. The new playspace is great and has made it even more appealing to visit. The kids loved it :)

Very strong South African influence. Many plants were from there and they seem to enjoy our summers. A large lake loaded with probably too many ducks. Water was quite low. Quite a few dead and sick trees. A pleasant walk ample parking. There are also walking only entrances at the rear but the main entrance and car park is off Shepherd's Hill Rd. Good amount of seating. For walking it's relatively small but has some inclines. Paths well established.

Well worth a visit. Allow an hour or two to wander all the paths, or settle in for a picnic. A real gem in the heart of Blackwood, a great community asset.

Wittunga Botanic Garden is much smaller than Adelaide Botanic Garden and Mount Lofty Botanic Garden. Walk around the small lake, quiet and relaxed. If you are good at discovering, you can see some beautiful flowers and plants.

Beautiful grounds. Easy short walks. Pram friendly. Clean public toilets. Fish and turtles in the lake. Various bird life. Playground area under construction.
