It's a fantastic station!

Blacktown station is updated periodically and now it one of the most efficient and cleanest stations in Australia. (Some junkies keep attempting to make it dirty.!). Railway staff are helpful. Lifts, stairs and escalators are provided appropriately to all seven platforms. Mini shopping and coffee joints provide quick bites. There is nothing more to excpect from an efficient local Railway station.

Usual railway station in the western suburbs of Sydney. Hub interchange for buses and trains. Trains to City, Penrith and Richmond. Bus interchange inbetween branch line to Richmond and station 3 use the overhead bridge to access the bus interchange. Small car parking area behind the bus interchange entry is from lights at end of Richmond Rd. McDonald's and a few shops on concourse above the station. Access to station from 3 sides.
