Great place to stay for a getaway, more privacy and much bigger than a motel room, and for a cheaper price! 2 bedrooms, spacious kitchen and living area, bathroom refurbished nicely, great shower. All provided linen etc was cleanly though rooms could have perhaps been cleaned a little more thoroughly. Overall though I would definitely recommend it for a bit of a get away. Just remember to pick up the room keys and linen from the Ivanhoe hotel on the main street, and if you plan on doing a lot of cooking in the cabin, throw in a few extra cooking utensils (trays, serving spoons etc. Necessities are provided).

Stayed in cabin 3, there was nothing wrong with this cabin, A/C worked fine, electric blanket worked fine, bathroom looked like refurbished recently plenty of hot water, kitchen wasn't a problem oven worked, microwave worked, fridge a good size and worked, tv worked all with Syd stations, appears the outside of the cabins are being painted (gutters, downpipes, barge boards, railings, some walls etc), new carpet in family room, clean sheets and firm bed, bbq clean and worked fine with Magpies helping you finish you food :-) Only issue I found was upon entering smelt a little musty/stuffy just open a few window to air it, some utensils/plates not that clean but washed them took 5min no problem, vertical blinds missing in highlight window in kitchen where cabin opposite "could" see into kitchen/family room if they wanted (problem fixed, tied string across and hung a light weight blanket), lounge bed sofa very saggy in the middle, there are no flyscreens so might be a issue in summer, and could do with a 40 dvd player l guess. After reading all the negative comments I was dreading staying there but found the opposite to be the case. All in all was very happy for the price!!! Remember that, would happily return. Remember you have to P/U keys from the New Ivanhoe Hotel.
