Without doubt one of the most beautiful and special areas of the Blue Mountains! The Centennial Glen region is full of short to medium walks, many of them not mentioned on the official maps, but all amazing in their own way. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice short walk out (15-20 minutes for us, even in the dark on the way back) for a great view of sunset out over the valley. Easy walk, but watch out for the mozzies as it darkens.

Amazing panoramic green valley views to the west and to the trademark rocky blue mountains to the south. Nice waterfall creek crossing located at the perfect halfway intermission spot for a refreshing mountain freshwater drink!

Home to beautiful views on a clear day, Fort Rock is one of the coolest places I went, when I was out in the Blue Mountains. I sat up there about half an hour, taking in the views and getting lots of pictures, and didn't see a soul. It's only about 1.5km from town, but you do have to go up and down though a fairly narrow trail through the bush to get there. If you're used to some off-the-beaten-path hiking, and don't mind taking it a bit slowly, it's an absolutely stunning destination, and completely worth the trip.

A beautiful spot with wonderful views. If you don't mind stairs and climbing over some muddy rocks, there's even better views on Centennial Glenn and Porters Pass.
