Stand out Rib eye on the bone. perfectly cooked. You could tell they even re-seared/oven finished the rib bone after they cut the steak off so those who liked picking off the bone could enjoy. Nice wine list and very very good service

Top notch in every way. We had the 300g porterhouse steak and it was done just right - melt in your mouth and very filling! Even the accompanying potato galette was fabulous. I had a glass of SA Shiraz which was simply divine. Service was impeccable. I can understand why the food and wine here is so highly rated. Highly recommended!
I would rate this restaurant as one of the best restaurants in Launceston, especially for steaks.we had oysters, king fish sashimi and then cape grim steak on the bone. Food was faultless. Kudos to Clare for making the evening & meal, friendly, attentive & discrete service. i highly recommend; nice
The steak was good as expected but a tad over cooked for my order of rare. The sides were all lovely and so too was the wine and the wine suggestions were well informed and unpretentious. Service was truly exceptional I felt very looked after and got plenty of reading material dining solo which I really appreciated.
Are there more than 5 stars?! We need them. Restaurant. Amazing. Ambiance. Amazing. Staff. Amazing. Food. Amazing. Beverage selection. Amazing. Can't begin to tell you. Just go down there. All of it. Spectacular.
Excellent service, fantastic steaks. Kids' steak looked so good I was tempted to order another one for "the kids"
Whilst not cheap, this place is fantastic and the value you is there with tremendous food and wine and great service. In fact our waitress went above and beyond and that seems a rarity these days so thank you! Meat cooked Perfectly! Sides all good and an extensive wine menu (by the glass wasn’t amazing on the night) with a great Pinot selection and some aged gems. It certainly showcases tassies wine offerings well. Won’t hesitate to return next time we are back in launy
Feeling very underwhelmed. Was expecting a mouth watering tongue tickling experience. But ended being an over hyped, over priced ordinary steak experience. Don't get me wrong. The food wasn't bad. Not at all. It was good. Just good. There is a big gap between the price and the goods. At the price and hype I was expecting extraordinary. Unfortunately it fell very short and was not extraordinary like say the Astor Grill in Hobart.
