My child has been attending this centre since he was 12 months old. The teachers are very professional and he has progressed well and is very confident in the water. The owner Greg has always been polite and goes above and beyond to address the parking issues that sometimes arise there. The Centre itself I find to be very well appointed

My children were enjoying lessons at the centre until an incident occurred. My 9 yo under Herman was progressing and enjoying her learning experience until the day that Greg, the owner, decided to take over the lesson briefly and totally destroyed my child's confidence. We did not return to the Centre for the rest of the term as my child was unable to face Greg. No refund provided the term fees for 3 children. Disappointed. Would I have recommended before the incident, absolutely. Would my family return - NO!
I have been happy with the teaching methods but never really happy with the parking issues, only one shower which I have been told in no uncertain terms to get in and get out, the rudeness of staff and the fact that they tell you they do make up lessons which can be only organised by email which they never reply to. You just give up after a while which I guess is what they want. Also not happy about keeping my credit card details on file and the strict rules when you try to leave. I am now writing this review due to a recent incident where my 5 year old grandson knocked a plastic clock off the wall accidentally which should not have been hanging that low anyway. The girl marched over and accused him of doing it deliberately which brought him to tears for the rest of the lesson. Other parents who saw what happened were also shocked by the response. I thought that was the end of it until I received a scathing email from Greg the owner, telling me to keep my grandson under strict supervision from now on, which I do anyway. Considering the cost per term, which is far more expensive that any other swim school I have been to as you pay for school and public holidays which most people wouldn't attend anyway, I would expect a better standard of facilities. Each child must also wear a swim cap which of course they will sell to you. I would not recommend Swim Factory.

We had a really bad experience with swim factory. First, they claim the temperature was automatically monitored - it wasn't. It was very cold in especially one part of the pool. Second, they store our credit details without our consent and charge us any additional fees without our consent using our credit card. Third, should you need to cease the automatic enrolment of your child into the following term, you can't just notify them. They won't release you even if you put into writing giving them early notice. You have to de-enrol from their program on only a certain date. Otherwise, your child is automatically enrolled into the next term and your credit card is then automatically charged again. No refund. Full term paid automatically. Lastly, the owner is very, very rude. Plus, only one change room is available. So your child would have to wait in coldness to use the change room after the class. Would we ever enrol our kids at the swim factory again? - NO! From me and all our friends
