Such a fantastic and unexpected meal. It was delicious and of an amazing standard. We had the bread and butter, prosciutto and rockmelon, duck liver parfait, the mackerel, truffle pasta and New York steak. My one note is that I personally think I prefer grilled steak as opposed to charred steak, as it was a little bitter for me. Cocktails were great, and everything was reasonably priced for what you're getting. The night was made even better by the friendly and great service, particularly Veena.

What a lovely discovery Bistro Sociale was for a lovely lunch on Saturday in Bowral. The food was delicious, the service attentive and the surroundings intimate. We left reminiscing France and vowed that we will have to return again to Bistro Sociale one day soon.

All our entrees, main courses and desserts were great. The service was excellent. We were very impressed with their very courteous and friendly way of giving us time to finish our meals and go into the Aspinalls Whisky Bar for a last drink. Good service.

The atmosphere is very inviting. The room is large but still feels cost. It's bright and light. A seat by the window is a great place to have your morning toast and coffee. The menu is recognisable as standard cafe offerings, but there's a feeling of finesse to the meals. There's not a large menu but there are sweet and savoury options. I was a bit disappointed that the tea wasn't loose leaf but was a bag in a pot.

My wife and I had a rather delicious entree / main combo over the festive season. I was particularly interested in the plentiful gin back bar - however the waitstaff weren’t particularly knowledgeable and the bar staff seemed distracted/disinterested. Hopefully it was a once off. The dessert menu was limited. And didn’t see other diners indulge. However, can certainly recommend the quality of food. A good place to visit when on the Souther Highlands path.
