Absolutely wonderful. We arrived without a booking and they kindly squeezed us in. The service was friendly with just the right amount of attention. The venue had a great feel, a real buzz but not too noisy. The food was excellent, we each had 3 courses and couldn't fault anything. I can't wait to return to this great restaurant.

What an awesome French restaurant. The setting is beautiful, the food is delicious and the service and staff are very accommodating and efficient. We tried many things off the menu. The portions are small but very rich so you'll walk out full. The restaurant is quite loud but the atmosphere is great. Thank you for a great night. I'll be back
I can't believe I haven't been here before now, it has the French Bistro theme nailed, just what I needed. The staff were spot on, except for the surliness typically experienced in many Parisian bistros. The recommendations were welcomed, and would be followed again. There was a good selection of local and French wine. My steak frites was delicious, the French fries were crispy and light and seasoned just right. I didn't have space for desert but on my return I'm sure I will.
Fabulous Easter Saturday night, from start to finish. Excellent smiling service, delicious food and easy to choose from reasonably priced wine list. A great buzzy & happy atmosphere. The finishing touch of complimentary digestive and take home hot cross buns topped off the night. Thanks so much & see you soon.
100ppl me and my partner been there to celebrate her birthday ,we r not alcohol guy so we just ate a lots of food first thing went on our table was bread smell so nice and the butter very smooth just open my stomach, and then beef tartar... omg!! Sooo good with that potato flavored chips yum yum,fish... the skin so crispy, and the meat very tender! 10/10 for our experience here, people r nice here and chef looks so calm! Would come back again!
A perfectly lovely dining experience. This restaurant is beautifully decorated with an intimate cozy ambience. Tonight was our first time dining here and it certainly won’t be the last. Our party of five loved our meals, all perfectly seasoned. Our waitress was very friendly and well informed of all the different dishes on the menu. We couldn’t fault this restaurant!
Perfect in every way. Staff were awesome. Food was exceptional (ordered a 1.3kg rib eye between 3... Probably excessive but I regret nothing). The wine was fantastic. Oh and they had LIVE MUSIC, a rare Sydney sight indeed. Genuinely can't wait for someone important to have a birthday or be visiting town, so I have another excuse to go there. See you soon!
Really enjoyed my first time at bistro rex. Our waitress for the night was super helpful in the night giving us suggestions on what to order and what wines pair well with certain dishes. Would definitely come back thanks for making our night enjoyable. Kudos to you all
