Cheaply priced which is the best thing about it, and which is kind of reflective of the overall quality of the course. That is not to say its not a bad course if you want a cheap hit or just to practice on. In addition and considering it is a 27 hole course, it can be a bit disorganised when social clubs play.

Public Golf Course family owned. 27 holes along a Creek. Most affordable Golf Course I’ve played on in many years. Very challenging and lots of water and big trees.
Brilliant friendly down to earth vibe at this very affordable Family owned golf Course in Birkdale.
Low green fees, no bookings and the course is looking great too - played here again after many years and it's looking the best it ever has!
If you wanna play, just go and play without booking. Friendly staff. Good price.
I played on the course today with my friend & it's my first time ever & man! I really like it. First of all, the service was great & second, the course was unbelievable. Love the country look & I believe I was more focusing & admiring the country look of the course than on my game lol. I will definitely come back but this time with my baby sister (pro), my son (13 years old) & my daughter (9 years old) - who also plays golf as well :) Just wanted to say thank you so much for today & see you very soon xx
My son had his first golf game on the course yesterday with a few of my and and his friends. He would be our 3rd generation who played at the course over the past 3 decades. Howeston was my dad's favourite course. An amazing course for my son to learn the sport, experience the joy, laughter and of course frustration of the game, make new friends, and meet old friends of my dad, who make Howeston unique and a welcoming family place for all ages.
Tough little gem. Friendly staff and course in fair condition. Definitely worth a visit & I will be back for more.
