I was absolutely disgusted by the receptionist who was greeted my mother and I when we checked in at 8.30am on Friday 16 October. We were greeted by the most rudest, obnoxious, condescending person I have ever met. My mother asked her a question and was told not to interrupt until she finished her sentence and that was the nicest part of the exchange. My mother is 70 years old, lives by herself and relied on me to help her with her appointment, pay and organise her discharge. Mum was worried about the procedure, possible results, apprehensive and very tired. We were more than happy with the nurses, doctors and staff. Its nice to be greeted with a receptionist who happy, cheerful and “caring” I don’t feel she should be working at the front desk greeting patients.
The practice is professional and no fuss. The anaesthesiologist was very kind and used the smallest needle he could which made it more comfortable. Jillian took the time to explain what had happened to me. They have a sign up showing how late they’re running which is also handy.
I recommend this practice to anyone who’ll listen. The doctors are caring, professional and highly skilled with great communication. Both Jillian and Nick play an important part in my life. I’ve had procedures at Sunnybank and Mater Private and Eastern Endoscopy staff make these experiences low stress and well organised. The admin staff are brilliant; phone manner is superb; many other practices could learn a lot from them.
The FIVE star rating here uses the words "loved it". Peersonally - I wouldn't want you to get the WRONG idea about me. May I adjust the wording to "caring" and "professional". I've been visiting the black snake there every second year to ensure I avoid the most avoidable of all cancers. Please consider this my high recommendation.
