Popped in for a drink and sandwich before our flight. Whilst noting the obvious restrictions during COVID times, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and orderly. There was plenty of snacks in small prepackaged containers. The chicken with spinach sandwich was surprising solid!!! The absence of alcohol was noted and made me a little sad... but hey, first world problems I suspect. At least there is still alcohol on the plane!!! There is a nice view back over the main runway which is interesting. Certainly a recommend from me for a snack whilst flying around! ️

The staff are very friendly here and the amenities include showers and a good selection of food and drinks. The lounge is located airside and is convenient to get quickly to the gates for your departure. Please hit the Like buttons if you found this review helpful.
After a less than favorable visit to Melbourne’s Virgin lounge we were reluctant to even venture through the lounge doors at the ‘smaller sibling’ Gold Coast venue. What a breath of fresh air indeed it was, from the delightful, informative and welcoming reception Lady through to the ever accommodating lounge staff we were greeted with an inviting, friendly and professional experience. Food and beverages here were accessible, plentiful and of a high quality as one would hope and expect with a service such as this. The actual lounge environment was full, however we did not get a feeling of being ‘crowded’. Comfortable, informal and relaxed seating was available for all. This particular environment has a very relaxed and comfortable ambiance that has a great airport view and very well catered service presented by staff that clearly value their clientele and their own ‘pride in service’. Definitely worth the visit.

Staff are lovely however it is severely overcrowded. Good view of the tarmac.
It's shame that Virgin Australia canceled our flights and rebooked us on other flights that was 4 hours later. Meanwhile, we requested to allow us the paid access to the lounge, but staff did not allow us, citing that they only allow two hours before the flight. Staff suggested that we should go out of airport and enjoy beach (outside airport) and come back to redo security. What a shame? Virgin Atlantic, please note that your policy is not helpful to YOUR customers, who was stuck at airport due to flight cancelation cause by You.
