When we met with Gerard we were fully onboard with Beyond Strata and we liked the pitch of no unnecessary overheads. However, it didn't take long for the cracks to show. The first red flag was that there was no stability with our manager/s. We went through about 4-5 different managers in the space of a year until Randolph took over. The next red flag was that our insurance skyrocketed, but with some persistence we were able to sort this out. When we met with Randolph, he came across as a sketchy character and we asked him to remove the unnecessary overheads that we shouldn't have been paying for. This was not done and after the meeting I sent him a message expressing my disappointment, but I never heard back. About two to three months later we received an email just prior to 5 pm on a weekday informing us that Randolph had handballed our account to another body corporate management firm and they would take over the following day. Randolph claimed that he didn't need to give us notice. We would have liked some involvement as he has sent us to a body corporate management company with a questionable reputation. We then looked for our contract, which was not on the portal as it was suppose to be. We were finally able to get a copy from the new body corporate management, and our interpretation is that we need to give approval in writing to both the new and the old management. However, the wording in the contract is very ambiguous and has more loopholes than an indoor figure eight race car set. It would have been nice to have fulfilled our contract with Beyond Strata, but perhaps this is a blessing in disguise. Randolph also lied about the reason why Beyond Strata would not be keeping us on as clients. Randolph said that the company wanted to focus on the online platform, but we were able to see that Beyond Strata is still well and truly focusing on properties.

Beyond Strata have been excellent. We have had other OC Managers and not one of them have helped in our resolution of defects in The Istana building. Randolph and Rabin are actively helping in defect resolution.

One star is one too many ... They will promise you ‘amazing and exciting ‘ things by people looking like glorified salesmen. They are selling you snake oil ! This company is one you and your OC do not need ! Contrary to the sales pitch, I found the staff to have elementary experience in managing a property of any size. My experience with this company is that of manipulation, intimidation and blame. The level of professionalism, accountability, transparency and service delivery can only be described as dicey, dodgy and extremely disappointing at the bare minimum. Do yourself a favour and avoid the huge regret like most of us who have left a review here. Buyer beware and do your research diligently! Feel free to reach out and save yourselves !

We live in a complex in the city which had some very unprofessional committee members who were undermining the rest of the owners, intimidating and using their person contacts to carry out work. Beyond Strata has been very professional and assisting the Chairman handle the situation at hand. I would like to say thank you for taking control of our building and restoring a proper structure and governance framework.
