If you're looking for the ultimate relaxation and recovery experience from the hustle an bustle of life you absolutely need to pay a visit to Beyond Rest Hawthorn. Denise and Bob are the most accommodating hosts, setting the tone with their welcoming energy as soon as you set foot in the door. The pods are all huge, state of the art, everything is immaculately clean and the ambience of the rooms and recovery lounge will leave you in an amazing state of zen! P.s. Thank you for taking me on this journey Beyond Rest! What a beautiful space, full of calm energy and Denise is such a gem. She took me through the place and I felt ‘at home’ right away because I knew where everything I needed was placed. She also took me through the different kinds of floats and recommended the one that would suit a first time floater. Felt calm after my float and had a chance to regroup my thoughts at their lounge. Don’t stress as there is ample street parking around the building. Cant wait to come back for my second float experience

I have floated many times at 3 other venues before going to Hawthorn.. From the moment you step in to walking out everything was perfect.. The hosts Denise and Bob were very welcoming and friendly. The space.... Of my! Cosy, comfortable, it all flows well because of all the curves and it is super clean.. And quiet. The outside world stays at the door. The lounge area is really cosy too with your own individual "pod", the blend of tea is made by a naturopath and taste delicious and at the right temperature. Now for the float.. I'm 185cm 80kg so not a big boy but the pod was big! definitely the biggest I've been in so you don't float away to the walls and have to nudge away so often. Bath at the right temperature and also the music was at the right volume, not too loud not too low.. Shamanic drums will take you away! I did a sauna prior which was a first for me before floating but I will definitely recommend it as well.. Removing all those toxins before the float really make a difference and open all your spores to absorb the magnesium. That will help your joints! I found my new float center and I can't wait to go back.. Really the best float I've had by far and I can't recommend floating enough.. If you want to try floating do it at Beyond Rest Hawthorn, nowhere else. You'll keep coming back. Thank you and see you soon!

As soon as you walk in the door you are supported in commencing grounding yourself. The colours and set up of the facility assists in a journey of relaxation and the float tanks are so spacious. Highly recommend!

WHAT A PLACE! SUPERB DESIGN AND FITOUT...PROBABLY THE BEST IN AUSTRALIA...HUGE ISOPODS; MAGNIFICENT SERENE ENVIRONMENT AND THE LIGHT THERAPY IS A UNIQUE TREATMENT NOT OFFERED BY ANY OTHER FLOAT CENTRE. SIGN ME UP GUYS!

What a fabulous place...every care is taken from the unique design and energy of the building to clean beautiful facilities. The owners are absolutely beautiful and really have put thought into every little thing to create a great experience. As I’m a beauty therapist myself I am certainly picky about quality service and you get what you oay for. We will absolutely return and I’m already thinking about who I can get voucher for Thank you for having us we will be back and I would highly recommend as the top float Center in Melbourne. They also have infrared saunas and a few other awesome services. See you soon.

As we walked into this beautiful reception, we were welcomed by Denise and because it was our first session we were patiently explained by Denise about the process. Truly a great experience... Today I experienced my first infrared sauna session followed by an hour long float.... and it was absolute bliss! I left this serene, relaxing place feeling like I was floating atop fluffy clouds. I have floated numerous times at a few different centres locally but this space is by far the nicest I've been in. Upon entering you are greeted with a signature scent & lush greenery, almost making you feel like you've just stepped into a luxurious day spa. The floatation tanks are the biggest I've ever been in, each private room well cleaned and equipped with fluffy towels & good quality earplugs. It's these small details that make all the difference. Denise was wonderful, explaining the different float menu options available - pure float, mindful relaxation or journey meditations. It was refreshing as a seasoned floater to be offered a different experience to the standard given at other places. The infra red sauna was better than I had imagined. With bluetooth available I listened to my own music, an audio book would be a great idea too. Sitting quietly for 45 mins before floating allowed me to sink a bit deeper & quicker when I entered the floatation tank. I would definitely recommend experiencing a sauna float combo. After nearly 2 hours of complete me time, I then enjoyed freshly brewed herbal tea in the chill out room and practically melted into the cosy individual couches. I was in such a blissed out state it was hard for me to find the motivation to actually leave. This place really is delightful. If you've never floated before you absolutely must give it a try! Go in with an open mind, make the most of the experience, enjoy everything that is on offer. You will not be disappointed! Yes... I will return to Beyond Rest in Hawthorn. It's taken me a few places to find the best, but I think I've now found my second home!
