It's a lovely park with picnic areas and BBQ facilities to relax with family and friends. There's a playground for the kids in a shaded area. There are various walking tracks around the park for those who enjoy going for a stroll. There's also a birdhide where you can watch various species of birds. There are public toilets and a parking lot too.

We visited Wilson Botanic Park last weekend. Its a massive park. It has cool private spots for all sorts of celebrations (check for bookings). Its a cool picnic place as it has lake view, trails, play area for kids and much more. The care park is huge but make sure you come in early to find a parking. We loved the place and had a gala time.

Its very relaxing and beautiful. Lovely place for lunch or a nice walk. Unfortunately it was under construction so it took away from the beauty. But would definitely go again.once completed

A wonderful and serene botanical park. Planted with native plants and trees. The footpaths meander through the park around the two lakes which are home to water lillies, long necked turtles. BBQ are available as well as shelters which can be booked to host parties of various sizes. Dog friendly, poop bags are provided on the way in. There is also a small outside Cafe, for fabulous coffee and cakes.

Beautiful and we only saw a small part of it. A group of us had a picnic in the shade of some enormous trees by the tranquil turtle filled lake. Lots of exotic plants to admire there too. The kids had a wonderful time scaling some huge steep banks and sliding down. Only one of us had been there before and we were all surprised that's we'd never heard of it, it's that good. Definitely worth checking out. Apparently there's a good dedicated play area for kids too, though we didn't get to see it.

Amazing flora. What you expect from a Botanic gardens. Grounds are kept to a very high standard. Very hilly so have you walking shoes on. But if you want fresh air, scenic walks and to get for this is your place. Large ponds and lakes for the birds. Great place for a party and to get those kids into nature. Also a side perk is they will sleep really well that night.

Nice park, well kept and water fenced off so children can't get to it. Very steep areas, some overgrowth in spots and only 1 toilet block at one side of the water so you need to walk all the way around to get to it. Definitely not enough parking. I feel for the people living around the park and having park goers constantly parking in there streets. Helpful park staff, even brought a buggy to collect the elderly people so they didn't have to walk all the way around.
