Poor service. I have purchased from King Living Furniture a couple of times now and All Purpose Transport are the delivery company. I received a delivery recently (second one) from this company with the same poor quality of service. The delivery window was between 12:00pm and 04:00pm. I had to leave work early to wait around for this company. 04:00pm comes around and no phone call or update. Had to keep calling King Living delivery centre to get some middle man update. Finally get a call at 04:50pm from the delivery driver to advise they have a delivery from Fantastic Furniture (completely wrong and unprofessional) and that they were 40 mins away (05:30pm). They arrive at 06:00pm. Delivery the boxes in my foyer of my house (see photos) previously they have taken the cardboard boxes away, this time they didn't (agreement with King Living). My first delivery last year is shown in the photos. The expensive furniture was dumped on the street light pole. Very unprofessional, poor communication and can't operate on schedule and communicate with the customer.
What a great delivery experience ! Had our new lounge from the Custom Sofa Centre delivered today by All Purpose Transport, Jafari was the delivery guy along with his able assistant. Got a text the afternoon prior from APT, then Jafari rang me that evening to confirm time, and then he also called in the morning 30 mins prior to the delivery. They arrived on time, were smartly dressed and friendly. Maneuvered the two couches carefully into the lounge, no marks on any wall, unpacked carefully, screwed the legs on, placed the couches in position, packed up every little bit of rubbish and left ..... all for a reasonable fee .....could not have asked for more ..... well done guy's ..... Thankyou !
We were recommended APT by our neighbours, and have since recommended them to the people moving into our old place. David Fuller from the Gold Coast team was fantastic, professional and the quote was very reasonable. Two lovely blokes turned up spot on 7 am and had our furniture re-homed into storage in two hours. They were so efficient and careful with our furniture and had a sound knowledge of what to pack and in what order. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
Ordered furniture from Ikea and was given an original window of 7am - 7pm, and was told I would receive a message the day before with a four hour window and would also be told when they were 30-60 minutes away. I received the message the day before telling me it would come between 11am - 3pm, and I got a call around 12:30pm on the day saying they were 10 mins away which was great. Couch was in multiple boxes, some very large and heavy and there was only one delivery person taking it all to my patio who did a fantastic job and was very fast. Everything was all there and in perfect condition. No problems at all.
Great place to work, and great people to work with
Very poor customer service from your delivery guys delivering IKEA flat packs to our apartment last night. We had waited all day for our order and had to collect them at 7pm. One of the guys was calm and helpful. The other, not so much. Prior to delivery, the other man rang my partner to confirm address and the order. He thought that it was from Fantastic Furniture and yelled at my partner on the phone when he confirmed that it was an IKEA order. Upon arrival, this man was swearing at us in another language, making passive aggressive comments in English towards me despite that his coworker and my partner were already hauling packages anyway. Understandably, 15 parcels is a large amount but it is not my partner's job to help out. This man was also rude to our neighbours in our building, making a huge scene by trying to force as many parcels into the lift as possible. This was remarkably embarrassing as we had just moved into this building that day. Upon inspection of our parcels, 2-3 of them were not handled with care - i.e. opened, pieces falling out, tape and packaging askew, etc. Luckily, we do have all our furniture parts. If there were missing components, that would have given us unnecessary work to find more and it just goes to show that the delivery was not handled with care. Overall, a highly unprofessional and rude experience.
I had 2 parcels delivered to my house that were not mine. I made contact with all purpose transport that said they delivered to where they thought was the address and I had to follow up with the company the parcel was purchased from. NOT MY PROBLEM GUYS. So I have 2 boxes sitting at my house someone is looking for!
