Was a customer for 3 years with a decent home loan to boot. Decided to refinance with another bank to get a cheaper rate, Deakin branch couldn't match the rate and told me that there was no break away cost. Flash forward 1.5 months and the new home loan has settled and Bendigo charge a 1086 break away 350 discharge fee. I query it obviously and they have wiped there hands stating they disclosed all fees and cannot substantiate my claims that i wasn't told of the break away fee and are refusing to budge or discuss it. The matter is still ongoing but do not trust this branch or its employees. They clearly stuffed up and are now covering tracks to save face. The latest is I have asked for them to review the recording of the conversation so let's see what excuse they come back with!! Go elsewhere!!! I won't be a returning customer and will be telling all family/friends to stay away from Bendigo bank!!

Highly recommend that sit there lady change work base or enjoy holiday at home. Rather than ask me to stand there not close to her when recognize I am Asian face. I am Asian but not virus itself. If you afraid please just stay at home or wear mask by yourself. So hate the attitude towards to others. So ridiculous, I am afraid everyday as well so I need to behavior like you?
