The CAMPING AREA at the Showgrounds & Recreation Reserve, near the Botanic Gardens, has lovely green areas with toilets (recently new) that are clean and open 24 hours. There is NO WATER available onsite (none that's drinkable) and NO Showers or Power but OK if you need a safe place to park while you explore the town (with it's fabulous artwork on nearly every building) and the surrounding areas, for an asking donation of 12 a night. It's within walking distance to the main street with it's shops & paintings. There's a hotel across the road and the Botanic Gardens just next door. All in all, just passable for place to spend a night or two.
