The boat shed....Poor service & lack of communication between staff...waited over 45 mins for a cocktail that they had forgot all about...then when they finally made it after having to ask where my cocktail was it tasted like it had no alcohol in it...just sugar syrup...Very disappointing...won't be going back. Then one of the bar staff took my partner's beer without asking if he'd finished it. He was still drinking it & it wasn't empty. He definitely won't be going back as you don't take a beer or any drink without asking if the customer is finished...

Although very busy, we didn't have to wait in line too long. Gorgeous pork roast lunch, which was very tasty. Staff were very courteous and helpful.
The view was amazing and the food was there was not much of a wait even know the bingo was on :) I would definitely be coming back this place when I'm back down south thank you for all your hard work keep it up
Venue was nice, spacious, clean amenities. Had rump for lunch, ordered two medium rare, received one medium rare and one medium. Also ordered mushroom sauce which was a huge let down, red wine jus with a few thin slices of mushroom, wasn't at all pleasant to taste. Steak had good flavour sadly was full of sinew and the struggle to eat overtook the good flavour. House chardonnay left a lot to be desired, but it's only a club so staff merely pour the drinks rather than have a useful knowledge of their product and where it's from or it's quality. (Note to self, always check the wine list). Sitting on the balcony outside was a beautiful outlook, we would dine there again, as long as we were lucky enough to score an outside or at least inside window table, without that it's just another bistro in any other club with an overworked/who cares kitchen staff.
Enjoyed lunch so much, decided to join the club. A beef baked dinner.
We enjoyed our family catch up. Meals from Salt were delicious we all enjoyed our meals.
Great club, friendly staff, food is delicious. Highly recommend the flash fried squid and the rump steak. Steak was cooked to perfection.
Salt restaurant. Great meals and staff are lovely. Beautiful view of the lake.
