This was our second trip here and it's such a beautiful spot. The cabins are comfortable and each one is nestled away from view of other cabins. The walks around the property are well worth doing and not too strenuous. So much wildlife to spot and views to appreciate. The hosts are lovely and helpful. From here it's also nice to explore a few small towns around the range or you can walk in the national park. We loved it and will return.

Wonderful property and the cabins have a homely, country feel. Everything was comfortable and the fireplace was brilliant! Lovely tank water. The birds were regular visitors and the rainforest & waterfall walks on the property were divine. Love to come back!
Very comfortable! ... Demountable cabins that have fireplace, aircon, fans, balcony, full kitchen, lounge room with stereo & tv. Acres & acres of peace & quiet. Rolling pastures & also rainforest with waterfalls and look-out on the property. Highly recommended! Hosts are wonderful as well. We will definitely be coming back.
This is our second stay at Bellthorpe Stays. It is the most ideallic location, so quiet, tranquil and in the midst of nature. Ideal for a weekend or week away for R&R. The cabins have everything you need including air con and a fireplace in winter. David and Wendy go out of their way to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Dodge the dog is always welcoming and up for a pat. He loved our doggie that we took there.
We absolutely enjoyed the mountain getaway experience. The kids were impressed with the two bedroom cabin and the fire place. The birds that come onto the cabin deck are amazing, king parrots, greenies and these adorable red banded finches. The walks within the property are a must do. All in all a great weekend was had by the whole family including our Golden Retriever Archie. Yes dog friendly!

We had such an amazing couple nights away. I loved waking up in the morning, making a coffee and looking out over the farm and hills. The views were gorgeous, the walk was so beautiful and it was extremely peaceful. I loved that we could bring our dog along as well. Wendy met us when we arrived and was so lovely, but apart from that we didn't see anyone else during our stay. The cottage was so cute and cosy and being able to snuggle up by the fireplace during the rainy night made for perfect stay.
What a great place to get away to. Wendy and David are great hosts who made sure that everything was running smoothly for us. We went there with 2 young kids who had a ball. There was tonnes of birds to see, plus all the farm animals. It was raining when we were there so David bought up his pet python for us all to have a close look at and hold, what a great thing that was, he also has a lot of knowledge about the snakes, birds, and farm animals. We got to feed the horse and the chickens Wendy gave us some farm fresh eggs. The rainforest walks are amazing, even for us, in the pouring rain. The fire was a massive draw card for us. With all the makings provided, it was easy to get lit and keep going. We had a great couple of days there, and I highly recommend you give it a whirl.
