Central Victorian INVESTIGATIONS

I have known and been dealing with Bells Water Gardens for as long as I can recall. Their knowledge enthusiasm and gift for landscaping, pond building and maintenance etc, is second to none. Their swim ponds are simply amazing and Richard and Sally’s customer service is nothing but pleasant with them both going the extra mile to ensure you are happy with their products. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Sadly our experience was less than pleasant. We were led to believe the job would be a certain price. We were pressured into buying expensive liners (as "last one left") at the start then once job had started and we had purchased the liners in full, given a written price to complete the pond which was double what we were led to believe. They also told us they had done things they hadn't. They said they'd take back the liners at one point and use them for other jobs, but didn't follow through. They even said same to our lawyer and didn't follow through. (Actually they took back one liner - just didn't pay us for it until our lawyer made them - six months after they said they would. They still owe us for the rest.) This is a company whose words we learnt quickly we simply could not trust. Ultimately we were left with an algae infested mess with a PH of 9 which is a death trap for the wildlife it was meant to sustain. Our experience was of a very slippery and misleading business who promised the world and left us with hell. We are now waiting for a court date to redeem costs.
