Great service with knowledge on where to direct us for continuous, updated information after recent flooding/land slips. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very clean and a decent size for a family of 4 and included aircon, a stocked mini fridge, breakfast essentials, ironing facilities in the room and television. Bathroom in the room had large shower with a lovely shower head to warm you up on a cool day. Dining area was very busy but the wait for our large and delicious meal was shorter than we thought it would be. Large portions and cooked to order. Great selection of wines and drinks. Off street parking was great although the path to the door is a little rough and steep. Walking distance to cafes, shops and the river for a swim or skipping rocks. Highly recommended.

Nice of choices on the menu, as well as a range of choices on the daily specials. Wood fired pizza on Friday is a great concept. The food was well prepared and the staff were friendly and helpful. A nice place to have a meal.
To Fred and his dedicated family Tom and Casey I want to say thank you for your hospitality , dedication ,thoughtfulness and most of all your compassion on a very difficult time for a very dear friend of ours that had a suspected heart attack whilst we were staying at your business. You all are very special people and will forever be remembered for your all your help you are all truly very special people.
Diggers tavern is a staple when bar hoping in bellingen. The tavern has had quite a few changes in recent times and I would have to say all for the better. The new bistro is fantastic. Quality meals with some decadent options. Great range of beers and various libations and a lovely beer garden out front. Decent gaming roomand super friendly staff . If you are thirsty and in bellingen. Why not give it a shot.

Dropped in New Year's Eve 2020/21 Convivial atmosphere, within strict Covid guidelines. Great menu choices - traditional pub fare with a few inspired selections; the Chef obviously knows their craft! Local's and visitors alike welcomed Well stocked shelf spirits and a good selection of ' on tap brews. Five Star recommendation
Wow ,could not fault this wonderful place. Should be 10 star rating, best food a credit to the chef and his staff Wonderful spotless accommodation, a credit to their cleaners Amazing atmosphere, the most friendly bar staff , also a credit to them But more than anything , the owner Fred and his dedicated family Tom and Casey I want to say Thankyou ,Tom came to our rescue at 3.30am to help us when one of our friends had a suspected heart attack and opened up the Taven so the ambulance could access the room to attend to our friend . Fred offered us his car to use ,as we where travelling on motorbikes , so that we could travel to and from the hospital at Coffs Harbour. Casey rebooked us to stay for as long as we needed too and offered also to pick up our friends wife from the hospital if we needed her help We will be back soon , to revisit and finish our journey! As we do alot motorbike rides and have been to so many wonderful NSW towns , we often return to the ones that shine , but we have all agreed hat Diggers Taven is our no 1 place we have been and stayed at Thank you again xxxxx Liz Camilleri
