Specialising in Westcoast Swing, Audacity Dance is the best dance family in Canberra. Trust me, I've been to a few. The instructors are excellent, they are there for the love of it and it shows. The age range is broad so no matter what your age it is unlikely you'll be the youngest or oldest.

A wonderful friendly place to learn a new (or your first) style of partner dance. They teach West Coast Swing, which is a relaxed, enjoyable form of swing dance where you can have fun and play to the music. The teachers are welcoming and encouraging, really keen to get everyone up and dancing. I've danced with them for a number of years now, and really enjoying the classes and socials.

Audacity is doing a great job bringing West Coast Swing to Canberra. I highly recommend these classes if you are a beginner, you can learn so much in just one term, even if you've never danced before. Try showing up on the first day of a term if you can, but even if you show up mid-term, the classes are structured in such a way that you won't take long to pick it up. There are advanced classes after the beginner classes and social dancing in between. I find that I still learn a lot from both the beginner and advanced class.
