Visited gold shop. Astonished with what the beechworth had in the history of Victoria. It had one of the first gold vault. Purchased small gold flake as souvenir.
A most excellent historical building
Lovely old building on the main Street of Beechworth. Used to be a bank and you can walk into the strongroom which has been restored and has interestingly displayed information about the goldrush. Lots of interesting items for souvenirs or gifts. From furniture to jewelry, gold nuggets and goldmining based items, gems and Agate displays, etc etc. Entry is free, we spent about 20 minutes just looking around.
Such a fantastic place for crystals, gold and fine jewels. Annette and Marie were so helpful! I will always cherish my jewels from Beechwood Gold!
