TackleWest is a great little hidden gem tackle store! If you want any to do with fishing - Luke and Hon-Su at TackleWest are the guys to see! ... and if they don’t have it in stock I am pretty sure they can order it in for you. Everything from the brands you know like Daiwa, Penn, Nomad, Abu Garcia, Nomad, Rapala, Vexed bottom meat ... just to name a few ... not mention the boutique Japanese fishing brands such as Meiho and Zenqa! TackleWest stock just top quality stuff which you just can not get at other stores like BCF and Anaconda. With Luke’s help I bagged my first ever dolly (mahi mahi) on lures and live bait! Hon Su’s recommendation of switching over to lighter line and fluorocarbon line using spinner at Harvey dam - I smashed my PB rainbow trout (see photos). Highly recommended!
Went to see Luke in his daddy funded store today. I’m an a long time associate of his, I’ve worked with him and fished numerous times with him, yet his greed and arrogance shon through yet again today. I purchased a handful of clips and hooks, and some braid yet he saw fit to charge me 350 for gear that should be under 100! Please avoid this store snd Luke at all costs Your better served to go down to AFW in freo, far better service and pricing. The sooner daddy' stops funding Luke’s store the better, we don’t need this Gronk!
Went down to grab a couple of lures and was not disappointed. Awesome selection and great service from the staff.
