Claimed they had 30 years experience. Hired staff informs me that they were just hired and that they’ve had no experience whatsoever and they do not know what they’re doing. Staff went through man hole while I was not home and went through my property, used my toilet. Broke into my garage, took my rags, broke a power point. Claimed they put 70 NEW tiles on my roof - I went up and checked. There’s only 20 tiles that were replaced and they were old, second hand tiles, NOT new at all. I have photos of my roof before to after. Not impressed at all, please do not waste your money or time. Would not recommend at all.

I had some 92 year old windscreen post off a 1926 dodge tourer that were pitted really bad come back what I would consider perfect he classed them at 92% great to deal with even talked to me at 7pm at night which would never happen anywhere else great job great attitude highly recommend without a doubt
I gave Star Plating the job of zinc plating some 28 year old rust pitted engine head shields that were looking pretty sad. They repaired a couple of broken tabs on the shields and gave them a new protective coating of zinc. The parts look terrific now, not quite like new as the material was to thin to fix the rust pitting, and I know that was the case before getting the plating done . I'm sure they'll last another 25 years now. I'd happily give Star more plating work based on this experiance.
I had a custom badge plated at Star, they talked me through the process and explained what could go wrong, which made it obvious when I got home and realised my cast badge had broken and been welded back together and is now crooked. After this they were impossible to get back in contact with.. the chrome plating looks good, it’s just a shame that the badge now looks terrible
