I had a great experience with Dr Alister Ramachandran. He helped me managed my pain from a nerve injury last year. He has a good approach to his practice, he probes and listens to my concerns. He takes time to explain the problem in a way that you can understand. He explores other options to understand the underlying issue. The sessions are not rushed. I also don’t have to wait that long for my appointments which is really great.

Dr Ramachandran and the staff at Painmed are always welcoming. Dr Ramachandran listen clearly to his clients hears their story. He takes the time to clearly explain what he is talking about in a way you can understand. I have found my visit a blessing and feel he is helping me in the right direction to manage my pain that I've suffered for 19years.

If you go to painmed at the hills private. Avoid making an appointment with Dr Alister Ramachandran at all costs. I went there in desperate need of help with managing my Fibromyalgia, arthritis and other things that cause me very serious pain. But when I saw him, Dr Alister Ramachandran didn’t even look at the scans that I took with me. Because of the arthritic pain I have to endure my writing skills have become very bad and It took about 45 mins filling out his 7 page questionnaire about myself (mentally and physical elements) and Dr Alister Ramachandran didn’t even bother looking at the answers I wrote down. Dr Alister Ramachandran constantly talked down to me, not to me. Dr Alister Ramachandran told me that everything I was experiencing was all in my head and what I need is to get help with a Psychiatrist, not a pain clinic. Dr Alister Ramachandran didn’t even ask if I was already seeking psychological help. My anxiety was triggered because of Dr Alister Ramachandran rude bedside manner. Because my anxiety cases my body to shut down and unable to talk. My carer had to take over and even he was rudely talked down to. Dr Alister Ramachandran offered us no help. Dr Alister Ramachandran cut the appointment short and all he left us with the words “good luck”. Dr Alister Ramachandran seemed happy that we were leaving he’s room and Dr Alister Ramachandran still expected us to pay him 375 for being extremely unprofessional and extremely rude.

I met Dr Ramachandran in March 2019. I was suffering from severe back pain. I had the necessary procedures and have experienced phenomenal relief. In my experience Doc. R is a caring and attentive person. He always listened to me and explained the procedures clearly. Follow ups were conducted in the same manner. Sessions are never rushed.......Was well informed about my condition, treatment options and prognosis......Dr and Practice Mgr followed up after treatment..
