See below a copy of an email I sent to the Australian following their review of Malamay on Feb 23-24 by John Lethlean: Dear Sir I am puzzled that the restaurant review of Malamay (Feb 23-24) by John Lethlean deteriorated into a cliched excercise in Canberra bashing. Even though the reviewer enjoyed his 7 courses (apart from dessert) describing the food as 'excellent' and 'superb', the restaurant scored a mediocre rating simply, it appears, by nature of its geographical location. I have eaten there 3 times and have found the 5 course option both exciting and filling.
