Our car was broken into overnight and by the next day, Joe and his team (Kim and Michelle) had kindly fit us in the following day. Pregnant and with a toddler, not a cent to our name, and no car, they rushed the job for us. Total lifesavers!! Really appreciated the complimentary Uber service, given my entire wallet was taken from the car, so had no way of getting home again upon delivering the car. Michelle and Kim were delightful and so empathetic. Joe was very professional and understanding. We were so impressed by the work they did on the car – especially considering the short space of time in which they turned it around for us, even including a tint! They also detailed the car, so a big FIVE stars. We will be highly recommending them to anyone :)
CAR REPAIRS After contacting my Insurance Company after an accident, because of a previous experience at Capital SMART Repairs Botany, I asked my car be repaired by them again. The staff are friendly and welcoming and do everything to make you feel at ease. They give an estimate on time required and they have always finished on time. At one stage a day or two before the estimated day. The workmanship is 120% and nothing is a trouble when you discuss matters with them. Hopefully I won't need their service again, however if I do, will not hesitate to ask my car goes back to Capital SMART Repairs Botany.
These guys were amazing... I'm super impressed. The manager (I forget his name) is a weapon and was so helpful.

DO NOT USE IF YOU CAN AVOID THEM. DISHONEST AND UNRELIABLE. AAMI sent me here after I was rear ended. The mechanic at the time of drop off acknowledged the part he required for repair may be unavailable and committed to call me to confirm if the part would take longer than expected to arrive (more than two business days). Obviously no one called me even after I had already stated to them that I would be out of town in for part of the following week so could only pick up the car prior or after being away. They said this was fine. Of course when the car was fixed I was not called the day of and I had to contact them myself and was told I had to pick it up that day before 5pm. I spoke with AAMI about my options as it was not easily viable for me to make this pick up time given I work full time and I was given pretty much no notice. AAMI called the mechanic to confirm the situation and they openly lied to AAMI about the situation. In addition when I picked up the car they had put the wrong badge for the wrong model of car on so I have to return to have it fixed. I also while driving home in the rain discovered my rear windscreen wiper has become broken while the car was repaired which is just blatantly unsafe is wet weather. Deeply disappointed.
A terrible experience with Capital Smart Botany. The team had awful communication in regards to how to fix the car and determine to repair without my agreement. I was told by AAMI that there will be an onsite assessment at Capital Smart, but when I dropped the car there, the team just took my key and told me the damage will be assessed and will call me to advise how serious the damage after assessment and how they will repair. However, capital smart did not call until I called them back. When I called them back, I was astonished and angrily to know the car wheel has been sent out to repair. As a customer, I definitely have the right to decide whether I am happy to go ahead with the repair. I asked them who approved the repair. Capital Smart said AAMI did the approval, but when I called AAMI who said Capital Smart had automatic approval with them. No matter where the ball has been kicked to, the fact is NOBODY has ever communicated to the owner of the car how serious the damage is at the beginning. If I was told in the beginning, I will definitely withdraw from the claim and find my own repairer rather going with the insurance. The procedures that Capital Smart Botany operates is not transparent and not professional at all! Again, the repair was not done by Capital Smart who actually subcontracted the service with other repairers WITHOUT my agreement! Capital smart have done NOTHING onsite but had earned a margin from subcontracting the service with other repairers. Are Capital smart car repairers or market dealers? Could I call Capital Smart Botany as “Capital DODGY Botany”?
Very Irresponsible. My car’s repair completion date has been delayed five times. I was promised the repair to be within a week but it is now two weeks and without any progress. Excuse were given every time.
