Menai Roosters was the first junior rugby league team established in the Menai area in 1984. It began as an affiliation with Woronora RSL then as it’s own entity. 2004 was the club’s 20th anniversary and we hosted a number of social functions as well as a new playing strip. All teams from under 10’s to A Grade undertook fully funded end of season trips thanks to the fundraising efforts of many coaches and managers and the support of our generous sponsors. The Roosters home ground is at Akuna Oval, Bangor where the clubhouse and excellent training facilities are located. We provide sporting facilities for teams from under 6 to A Grade. Barbeque and bar facilities operate for each home game.
