Worth 1 hour walk to reach the spot from car park. Highest point before heading down toward hanging rock. Be careful during the walk, we encountered few snakes during night time. No restroom available. Walking trial is a fire trial.

Walking for about 1 hour each way to get to the spot was so worth it! This place has the best view of the hanging rock. The walk was pretty easy with just some elevation but nothing that was too steep. I would recommend wearing non-slippery shoes if you would take the short walk towards the hanging rock though. The spot is definitely something to be added to your Sydney bucket list.
Road is closed to drive. Have to walk 1 hrs to the lookout from Burramoko Trail. I highly suggest to take a bicycle(yes accessible) at back of your car instead of walking all the way to make it worth it. And the famous hanging rock is 10 mins downhill from the lookout. Also take a fly net or repellent and plenty of water.
Wild and rugged, not suitable for young children for the last 5 minutes of the walk. There are plenty of warning signs stating the lack of a safety fence. The steep descent at the very end of the trail goes down to the left, then descends further down a perilous trail, offering a marvelous view of the blue mountains and sheer cliffs.
The walk to get here is rather boring and long, nothing to see but trees and hear the birds. But boy oh boy the view once you get to Baltzer lookout is stunning! Truly an incredible view, almost as good as Govetts Leap. Awesome panoramic views of the valley with massive sandstone cliffs faces all around. It's beautiful and a must do if you're in the Blue Mountains! Also- the track to Hanging Rock is just off the lookout. It's a rather steep walk down, with lots of rocks and some roots throughout the track down but the views once you get there are awesome. And it's really cool standing on there. Be safe getting onto there however! There's a chasm you have to jump over to get onto it. You will most certainly die if you do not make the jump!
One of the best views ever but please do not stand on that small rock at the emd of the hanging rock because it is detached and i felt it when i stood there! So Be careful
By far the best lookout in the blue mountains. It's a bit of a hike, allocate at least 3hrs return but the views are unparalleled
About an hour walk down the fire trail from the car park. Incredible panoramic views. Untouched beauty. One of the best lookouts in the Blue Mountains.
