Nice and clean beach and park, the promenade is great for a early morning walk while watching the sun rise.

A comfortable location for a picnic on a pleasant day. If early enough you may get picnic table before they go otherwise pack a small folding table and chairs or take a picnic rug. Can be quite busy on weekdays with nice weather, where I wouldn't even bother attending in the summery months. Parking in the off-season costs 5 an hour (Sept 2020) but I don't know the cost in summer. I think it might be a maximum of 2 hour parking?
