I started my adult swimming class a month ago. Alex, our instructor has been amazing! Very knowledgeable and patient. Thanks to Alex I’m ticking one of my bucket list goals for this year

The gym is cruisy, can get a bit busy in the evening. There's another room fully equiped that is just collecting dust while members fight to get on equipment. Life guards are fantastic. The pool staff and always kind and courteous. Keep up the great work, Aqua Section, a big shout out the supervisor of the thermal nuclear pool. If it won't kill you, it will cure you (free chemo therapy!)

Great Centre, staff and facilities. Staff are well mannered, kind, attentive and approachable. Place is always looked after and clean, with plenty of change rooms available. A very good place for all ages but may be a bit boring for teenagers with lots of energy to burn. Parking is no longer a problem with the new bays for the skate park that give more parking to all. Pretty good prices but better to get a membership if you are going regularly. Love going there and highly recommend going if you haven't been already.

Such a lovely community. Amenities are so clean. They have three indoor pools... one with lanes. One for kids and they also have a heated pool... have a number of changing rooms and also a fully equipped gym..the staff and guards on the ground are friendly and very attentive. They also do swimming session memberships.they do have classes too... I would definitely recommend this leisure centre.

Very good gym and pools, but unfortunately no spa/sauna/steam room

Small facility, but nice. Can often get too crowded during summer school holidays and on weekends. Mostly the pool-side attendants are lovely, but some staff on the front desk are not so friendly. Parking was a problem, but better now with new skate park bays available nearby.

A small swimming complex compared to some but still a great place to exercise or swim. There is a nice kids play pool with a well tapered area to cater for the youngest and theres a fun looped 'river' area to play in. The larger, deeper pool is great to get a few laps in or for the older kids to play in some deeper water. The only down side is that the Cafe hasn't been open in a very long time so if you're there to watch you're kids play then the cuppa will have to wait till you get home.

My family have been going to Balga Leisure Centre for 5 years now. The pools are fantastic and the staff are friendly and professional. The Hydro pool is so warm and well maintained. I walk in the jetted area three times a week with other early risers and my kids have learnt to swim.
