I am a custom home builder (Eco Fusion Buildings specialising is Solar Passive design and build) in Perth and love Auswest timbers. The staff are always very helpful. The range of hardwood timber is excellent quality and the range is awesome. I love that you can just walk through and choose the perfect pieces of timber for the job. Loading up is also very easy with a huge parking area. Finally they are located just off Leach Hwy making it very easy to get in and out of.

Top service, excellent range of timber by size and grade. Better than Bun@@ings, the Auswest boys in the store know what they are talking about.

Sent the prettier half down to these people to pick up some timber. Was very specific that the size be 100mm x 50mm as this was most important for the dimensional restrictions of the job at hand. She came home with the 110mm x 55mm they gave her and then when queried on this they offered up the explanation that the timber would shrink down to the correct size once it has aged/weathered - really? Nine or ten percent shrinkage? OK, so how do I make it fit in the meantime because I was hoping to have this job done in the next few days? Or maybe I should stuff around and trim it all up to the correct size so I can actually fit it? Then, in a few short years, it'll be 9 or 10% too small. How hard is it to supply what people actually ask for or tell them you don't have it? This is why some businesses deserve to fail....

After dodging and deflecting for a very long and drawn out period there was no responsibility taken for the poor timber moisture content and extremely poor installers this company supplies and recommends.
