Their website and user guides are messy, but it's a good test. I mean, if you can't follow them then how do you expect to run a business?

Valued government department for all related business services. Working for all business, in all industries; for continued lawful trading practices.

Won't help you if you need their help, despite it being their job. Complete waste of tax payers money. Don't deserve their pay checks at all. You absolutely can not count on them to protect you from fraud. My experience is they in fact helped facilitate it. Flat out let a company rip me off and defraud me of 5,000. Did nothing about it. Claimed this company did nothing wrong despite clearly breaking black and white rules, can not even fathom how they can say this company did nothing wrong with a straight face. A totally corrupt organisation who are known to have dinner and drinks with companies and people they are supposed to be investigating. Not to mention we saw how cowardly they really are and whom they are in bed with via the banking royal commission. ASIC is supposed to protect investors, but instead help facilitate corporate theft and fraud. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Only help the corrupt and rich get richer via white collar crime. Thanks for nothing ASIC.

AFCA doesn't follow legislation. Royal commission has done nothing. Have to pay 40 and fill out lots of forms to remove address from business name. (AEC ect) Makes it easy for big business, punishes small business and start ups.

They seem to have no concern whatsoever for victims of fraud. You are always better off going to a court or a tribunal.

Monday morning and phone was answered within 5 minutes. Lady was very helpful and patient with me. Knew the website portal and guided me to make right changes.
