Balancing the memorial to Kemal Atatuk across Anzac Parade and only just below the Australian War Memorial, this small monument park in the shape of a Greek Ampitheatre reflects the strength of the Greek Australian connection. Opened in May 1988 it commemorates the high number of Australians who lost their lives defending Greece against the Nazi invasion of 1941. Reid Oval has toilets and the best parking is next to the sportsground. Closest cafe is Poppy's outside the Australian War Memorial.
