This place is one of the best military museums in Australia. It is geared towards the Australian Infantry Regiments and as such it’s exhibits are about infantry, not the army or defence force as a whole. It is clean, tidy and very well priced. The staff are friendly and usually available for questions or a tour and are for the most part current of ex-serving members of the Infantry Corp. It may be a little out of the way but it is worth a drive as it will rekindle the Australian spirit within anyone with an ounce of patriotism. It also has a cafe that serves up some excellent grub and drinks. Staff- 5/5 Cleanliness- 5/5 Exhibits- 5/5 Food and drink- 5/5 Utilities- 5/5

This is an impressive museum with displays beautifully displayed in chronological order and explained by a Major on duty. Really worth the effort getting here and the time spent here. A great history lesson.

One of the best museums; a great deal of respect goes for all those who sacrificed their life spanning a number of conflicts from the Great War to present conflicts. The artifacts and detailed information presents great insights into the the struggles and honor amongst our servicemen. Highly recommended!

On Saturday 29 December we wanted to visit this museum. Checked on Google maps that it is open 9am - 4pm, drove to the place only to see gates shut and big sign "Reopen 2 January". Another group of people drove up while we were at the gate, only to turn around and leave. So in 2 minutes 2 families arrived and left with nothing. People planned their day out to bring kids to your museum and drove all the way to Singleton to see the gates shut. Not good enough guys.

Nice small place with a very warm hospitality. Everyone from 5years up in our group enjoyed during summer visit. Great peace of history and even for a person who’s not a museum enthusiast would still be inspired by the ethics and quality in army and this place in general. I’d say we did one of our best decisions by paying a visit during our recent camping trip!

It's not a massive museum but my boys absolutely loved it. Lots of guns and tanks and a giant helicopter inside. Just beware they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

One the best museums I've been to. Awsome and immaculate displays of all of Australias campains including weapons and uniforms on display. There's even a full size chopper hanging inside. Two levels with a giant TV screen saying the story of our troops over the years. If your in Singleton you have to visit this place. There's a cafeteria and gift shop also.
