I’ve been a student of the Academy for over 2 years now and they are an amazing place to learn and grow. Their teachers are amazing musicians who really care about my goals and aspirations and who go out of their way to support Students like myself. It definitely feels more like a family than a school and everyone is made to feel welcome and given the opportunity to perform regularly. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to progress their musicianship.

A great store with many hidden gems. This is a very well run and professional business, but with a very friendly approach. Quality and pricing is great and nothing is too much trouble. They also have professional onsite repairs. I wholly recommend paying them a visit.
Great place for people to try out new instruments, they encourage you to try out new things. I’ve been going there since I was 4 and I love it there.

We have guitar lessons with Nick and it is always a friendly, pleasant experience. The Open Day and similar events are well organised and give the students an opportunity and motivation to show what they have learned. To Nick, Lesley and their Team: "a big thank you"
I had guitar lessons with Nick and he was great, so flexible, knowledgeable and easy to get a long with. There wasn't a song I gave him that he couldn't pick up. He made me feel comfortable and confident with my instrument. The whole team at the Academy is friendly, passionate, easy going and helpful. They are very supportive to all the students, doing regular jam nights and even a yearly concert. I would highly recommended them to learners of all ages
