Immersion Imagery

Use to be my go to burger place a few years back and I would recommend it to whoever wanted a good burger. It has let me down the last 5 times and I am by no means fussy. Just had the pulled pork burger, a slab of microwaved roast pork with 2 cm of fat slapped on a bun (not pulled, not marinated just a slab re heated meat). Do you know what pulled pork is or how it is made? Chips are always undercooked and stale, gravy is some crazy watery foul tasting concoction. Come on who ever owns this business the quality of your food is not good, it use to be the best.

Not a great experience. The food was clearly pre cooked and picked up off a bench when our number came up. We asked for a few adjustments (nothing major) but these were not accommodated with our order. I took the orders back and was met with irritated stare from the manager. I told them I knew they were busy but I didn't mind waiting. One of my orders went back to the kitchen and one sat on the bench despite my saying it was wrong. About 30 seconds later my 'adjusted' order came out. At that point I realized I might as well give up. Almost all of the food we paid for went directly in the bin. We used to live here about a year ago and it was such a nice experience coming to Shells. The food was made to order and came with lovely touches like home made tartare and shallot garnish on the fish. Those little things demonstrate care and a sense of joy in what's being served. I don't know what's happened but I hope they can fix it.

Excellent coffee and great service. Burgers were very good. Beautiful spot to sit across from the beach. Loved it. Worth the stopover. While you're there, go across and have a look at the beach and rock pool, it's amazing

We visited the beach on Australia day, decided to try the fish and chips. We spent 90 we ordered 3 fish & chips, 2 pack of Calamari, 8 fish cocktails and Medium Chips . It was a waste of money gave 2 star cuz Calamari and Chips were okay. Fish was a big chunk of oily batter with tasteless tiny piece of fish inside. And just so u know if u decide to come on public holiday be prepared to pay a hefty public surcharge.

Was fairly disappointed with a basic fish and chips takeaway order today. There were scales in the fish, and the batter was thick and undercooked. Wouldn't be back here. It's a shame as it has a great location and service was quick, so was hoping this would turn out well.
