The receptionist in the emergency ward at auburn hospital is extremely rude, the careless voice over the phone and disgusted face reactions in person is not professional at all and they really need to do something about that. However the doctors and nurses there are amazing and polite

Very long waiting time. The staff members are rude, disrespectful and inefficient. The staff members showed bad attitude towards the patients. The nurses are not helpful and caring at all. They did not seem to respect the privacy of patients and other colleagues. In the ward, you can literally can hear them talking about other patients and colleagues. If you live nearby and are not urgent to seek for help, I would recommend going to other hospitals instead.
Staff in Westmead hospital is great. My wife was pregnant and she had infection.. Westmead hospital gives us biggest problem and due to that the infection was too much. And we loose the baby. But auburn hospital handle it very nicely thanks
Staff is absolutely terrible, so rude and don’t provide any information to patients. My toddler came in crying and screaming from pain. They did not bother to take any immediate action as they should. I have waited 5 hours. Babies need immediate action. Honestly if your baby or toddler is sick this is the last place you should go. Hate seeing my baby in so much pain with no attention provided what so ever.
The emergency ward is absolutely terrible. I can't believe the attitudes and sarcasm and general disgusting behaviour you get when your trying to get help. My grandmother hadn't kept food down for 2 days and needed to be on fluids. They wouldn't give her any and the basic of tests were run. They didn't want to treat her and wanted to shove her out the door. Our family has been trying to treat her ourselves but needed genuine medical professionals to treat her. The ward head I'm guessing (didn't get her name) was condescending when we asked if she could be admitted and said "no deary not gunna happen". She shouldn't be in the medical industry and I find her behaviour appalling. Get better emergency department people Auburn as they are letting you down.
Just came out of day Surgery and must say I had a very pleasant experience at this hospital. Starting from check in at reception right through till the end of discharge, I was kept well informed and well guided by the nurses and the relevant staff which helped reduced my anxiety and made me quite calm throughout. In terms of cleanliness and hygiene I would give 11 out of 10 as whole premises was well cleaned and covid free. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you Auburn Hospital for such a nice hospitality. Loved it ️
"Came in a broken man, left with a new lease on life" I came in with my mate who had fractured his left neck of femur, and without any hesitation from Nurses and Paramedics, he was looked after. And that constant pain he felt that frightful afternoon was managed with some pretty hectic pain relief, nothing I had the pleasure of trying for myself unfortunately , but for once it wasn't about me. Anyway It has been about a year now since the operation. He's a kind of "glass is half empty" kind of guy... but from that minute... that second he was brought into ED screaming "god help me! I broke my hip!" He has always expressed to me, and his family the wonderful vibes he felt as the paramedics canulated him, telling him it everything would be fine! And since that day, I have always told EVERYONE! just how amazing Auburn Hospital is.
We received great support and medical attention here. Special thanks to Sevva, Krishna and Angelo for their care and professionalism and also their kindness. Sam was well looked after.
