Disgusting. Full of lies. Rude manager. I purchased a Dahlia sofa at Freedom Auburn store in Dec last year. Paid in full. At the time of purchase the sales person promised the delivery would be around 20 Jan 2021. Waited until 30 Jan and nothing happened. I went to the store and the same sales person checked at the computer and told me the sofa had arrived at the warehouse and I would receive a text message for delivery next week. Based on her information I sold my old sofa waiting for the delivery. Two weeks later nothing happened. I made a few phone calls and finally a manager rang me back in mid Feb telling me there was a delay and the sofa would not be available until the end of April, with no guarantee. I asked her why the sales person told me it had already arrived, and her response was “she (the sales person) is not good with computer, you should not trust what she says”. Isn’t it ridiculous? Because I have already sold my old sofa I told her I would like to cancel the order and get one from somewhere else. She promised she would put the request through to the head office. Waited two weeks nothing happened. I rang her again but this time she denied I had requested a refund, saying “you told me that you want to have a think about it”. That was definitely a lie. Then I finally told her that I wanted to request a refund. She then promised she would send the request to the head office but “it is up to them”. I am now waiting to hear back from their head office. God knows how long it would take and whether they would give me a refund or what. Absolutely a disgusting business to deal with.

We ordered their armchair back in early November 2020. We were told that the armchair was custom made and it would take up to 12-14 weeks to arrive. It is now 14th February 2021. I called them 3 times to confirm when we were told in January that we would most likely be able to pick it up at end of January. Then they said early February. They don’t even bother telling customers that their order is going to be available for pick up late. No email no text message. NEVER going to order anything from Freedom EVER AGAIN. Do yourself a favour and don’t order from this place. The most basic furniture. We paid 800 for this armchair. WORST customer experience. Freedom, stop lying to your customers. Stop hiking up basic furniture. We are so disappointed.

22 week wait period for a fairly generic piece of furniture advertised in the most recent catalogue. Shocking. Called the warehouse, its a third party provider who can't check stock levels. Fairly poor experience for the prices charged.

My girlfriend and I recently purchased a sofa from this store. Liz and Lorraine both helped serve us, they were both extremely friendly and helpful. Delivery driver Rick and his helper had the sofa in our place through some tricky doorways within minutes. No hassle, no stress. We will definitely be back again.

Don't bother with Click and Collect here. Ordered a simple wall mounted hook that was advertised as in stock and expected it to be available for pick up in a day like what they're advertising. It's been over a week now and I haven't received any follow up emails and like many other my attempts to reach out to the store have gone unanswered. Status in my account is still "processing". What a silly thing to lose a customer over! Will steer clear of Freedom. The fact that no stores are rated over 3.5 stars was a massive red flag I missed.
