Surprisingly accessible, I was able to access most of the gardens in my wheelchair. The benches were pretty far away from the path so if my friends wanted to rest there's be about a metre between us. The picnic tables outside were not wheelchair friendly. They still have covid safety precautions in place which was greatly appreciated. Would love to come back and spend a bit more time exploring

My favourite walking track. Start from Progress Park, walk all the way to Mona Street and then back again. Love seeing what nature has to offer, from snakes to peacocks to chickens to the fish in the river. You just don’t know what your going to come across. Just lovely.

An absolute gem in the most unexpected of places! I remember coming here when I was still a small child with my parents. The place has now grown and has such an incredible abundance of plants, animals and nature. It is such a beautifully restorative garden. Perfect for a break and just absorb some nature. It is very well looked after, clean and in amazing shape. The free roaming peacocks are absolutely breath taking, I could sit and watch them all day! The park is really family friendly and even has spots that can be rented for events/birthdays. I highly recommend visiting this garden wether it’s for a family outing or just to catch some fresh air and clear your head. This garden is a true western Sydney gem!

Was looking for an easy outdoor walk for my 92 year old mother. Plenty of this near the entry including the Japanese Garden, scent garden and animals. Wish I could have explored more. Great spot for a picnic. Vast and beautiful grounds. Well worth more than one visit.

Auburn Botanic Garden, is a great place to unwind with family and friends and take in the natural beauty of the gardens. Slowly roam around to admire gardens or sit and relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the gardens can truly recharge your battery. There are restroom facilities, and plenty of parking, and no food to be taken into the gardens. Auburn Botanic Gardens is a great place to visit for all families.

Beautiful Japanese gardens and very picturesque. Great photo opportunities and a nice slice of Japan during times where we can’t travel there. Went relatively early in the morning and were virtually uninterrupted for photos, felt like we were the only ones there along with the peacocks that are strolling around the foot paths. Very serene and tranquil, make sure you give this place a visit when you’re in the western suburbs.

It is overall a fantastic place. 5 entry for non Auburn residents is pretty cheap. The Japanese garden is absolutely beautiful and well designed and maintained. The kids had lots of fun with the animals and nature. It took us 90 minutes to go around. Will go again!

We had no idea there was this beautiful place less than 5 minutes drive from our place!!! As it was weekend so the ticket was 5 pp. So we were greeted by a peacock on the entrance Then we went in and saw the beautiful set up, trees, birds, lizards and we also saw a fluffy white rabbit!! Its a wonderful place if you want to take your kids!! They will have a blast!! And also if you are sad just go there and roam around i am sure you will feel lighter!
