It was ok but all round a hassle compared to 3 others places I've stayed in Newcastle. As you can see from reviews, it's a confused and confusing setup. AirBnB in disguise, but with less clarity. Room was dirty round the corners. Late night check-in difficult, not least because the place is not signed as Astra.

Hosts were fantastic, very welcoming and informative with check in details. Great stay, very comfortable. Excellent interior design. Has everything required for a perfect home away from home. Would highly recommend.
Bad service, what is advertised is not accurate. We had trouble getting the keys. You can get much better value with serviced apartments
Don't stay here, so over priced. There are much better available in same building. I found out too late
1st stay at Astra Apartments Newcastle . The accommodation was spotlessly clean and spacious, with all modern conveniences provided to make our stay comfortable. The owners Emma and Robert were always on hand to provide some good insights, where to go locally for sightseeing and dining options. We travel to Newcastle frequently for work, and this has been the best place we have stayed in.
Could not have hoped for a nicer place. Easily my best stay in Newcastle. Spotless and well maintained apartment close to cbd and excellent view. Much appreciated. Bryan Brown
I had a delightful stay here. Emma was extremely friendly and accommodated all of my needs whilst there. I will definitely be coming back for future business travel.
