By far the best, most fun way to learn an instument. Not only are both my children gone from not being able to play at all to being AMAZING musicians but even I have ticked "learn to play the guitar" off my bucket list. I can only recommend this Company in the highest possible way. They are awesome!!!
After doing 2 terms with Seamus my voice has improved and my confidence has improved. Not to mention Mondays became my favourite night of the week. All in all it wad a really enjoyable experience and I cant wait to get back to Brisbane to go again
I have had lessons with Andrew for guitar and Seamus for singing. I cannot speak highly enough of either of them! Fantastic musicians. Wonderful teachers. Highly recommended.
I attended IMA for almost 3 years and it was excellent. I felt guided by my mentor who did a lot to provoke thought in me and motivated me through any hard times I was having in learning. As a result, I'm now confident with my instrument (voice), I could never have achieved anywhere near as much without this place. Only stopped lessons because I moved state, I miss it so.
I see Jasmin every Tuesday evening for singing lessons. She is absolutely lovely and very open and forthcoming with suggestions. Very talented and inspiring, could not recommend more!
A few years ago, I studied bass with Seamus and have recently returned to improve my vocals, again with Seamus. He is one of the best teachers I have ever met, music or otherwise. He has a staggeringly broad knowledge of music and theory, is an enthusiastic fan as well as a gifted musician and has an experts eye and ear for ways toward significant improvement, often with a few simple exercises and adjustments. Students learn the most economic and effective ways to approach music. He's also a super nice guy who makes lessons fun and relaxed. IMA staff are also really pleasant. I would highly recommend Seamus and IMA to anyone wanting expert tuition tailored to the individual needs of students. Can't beat 'em :)
All round wonderful experience dealing with both admin and teachers. Lessons became my most anticipated part of the week!
