I recently graduated from Artistry of Makeup Academy and I miss going to class already! I chose this college because it fitted right with my work schedule only offering night classes once a week and was close to my home. With a full time job and kids - it definitely gave me the flexibility to do all of that plus pursue my passion at the same time. I had such a great time learning about the different makeup styles, techniques, and all that I needed to know professionally and hygienically in the Beauty world. The trainers are immaculate professional makeup artists in the industry and have worked with prestigious brands such as MAC, major fashion shows etc. so they provide a lot of insight of what to expect in each job and it was such an honour to be mentored by amazing artists. Apart from the classes, there are also Inspire Connect Sessions where you get valuable guidance on your journey to becoming a Professional Makeup Artist and setting up your business. I really appreciate all that I learned during my time here and highly recommend this college!

The support at AMA is amazing, jess is just absolutely tops! I was so lucky to have her as a trainer whilst supporting, encouraging and teaching us through the whole process ill be forever grateful for. Leanne, is always there when we need her, always checking in and allowing us to have more then just quality⁰ make up skills but she also provides us with kits, quality trainers, business skills, social media skills so much more than i would have gotten if i went anywhere else. Choose AMA!
Amazing from day one! All the staff has been so friendly and approachable, my instructor Sascha is fun and extremly talented. Leanne is inspirational and friendly. You will learn from the best in the industry. I chose AMA because of their reputation and they went above and beyond to be flexible with my study, budget and work commitments.
I would highly recomend this place to anyone interested in a career in makeup. 5 stars
I’m gonna write my honest opinion when you go to the interview with them they promise you heaven and earth I asked if they will give me experience in makeup which they never did (other institutions do offer) they are very friendly but they need to work on their professionalism I got send my certificates two days ago, and they look so poor I took two different class separated from this school and they gave me a detail certificate and looks professional, now I feel embarrassed to show those certificate, looks like i could easily print them out from my computer. I would say save your money and invest in a better school. And the brushes I got from the kit they are all broken, the kit is not really high end quality.
I really cannot reccommend AMA enough! This is such an amazing place to learn and grow as a make up artist. Learning from Such talented individuals with so much industry experience is incredible. There is so much support and positivity, I will be sad to finish my course, it’s the best part of my week!
Such an awesome environment to study in, everyone at AMA are so lovely and talented. The teachers are very hands on and always willing to help with anything. Im so so happy that i found AMA!!
