Wait times are horrendous. My mother was recommended here by the local specsavers. The doctors are great but expect to wait 30-1.5 hours for every appointment.

I must say great team of Specialists as highly recommended. The blonde lady at reception was such a lovely lady.

Doctor West is the best! I work in the trades, and it’s very comforting to have a doctor who is on top of the symptomatic injuries suffered. Couldn’t rate the clinic in any higher esteem.

I was referred to Armadale Eye Clinic last September as the result of an emergency eye issue (detached retina). At the time I was treated promptly and expertly by the staff there and made a full recovery. I have since been back for regular consolations and check ups. My experiences with the clinic have been universally good. The aftercare offered has been exceptional and has gone beyond what I would normally have expected from a medical practice. I would absolutely recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing. (From your daughter, Swah. I used my friend's laptop for this.)

Armadale Eye Clinic 93 Kooyong Rd, Armadale VIC 3143. Recently, I was referred to the specialist doctors at Armadale Eye Clinic, ostensibly for advice and or treatment for a troublesome eye complaint. A complaint that dates back several years, my left eye had failed to heal after a lens removal. When I visited on the first occasion, I was in considerable pain and, although I was a little apprehensive, I certainly do not feel the discomfort was due to the original surgery by my first doctor. However, the pain I was experiencing was more likely to have occurred because of an infection. The bottom line was, there seemed no end to my dilemma, I was experiencing dry eyes, constantly requiring lubricant! The product I found very helpful was ‘Viscotears’ (marvellous). Another side effect I developed was a ‘Droopy Eyelid Syndrome’ and I want to suggest that should this be something you are experiencing, that you place your trust in the surgeon I had the good fortune to find. Dr Brent Gaskin was able to remove the unwanted folds to both eye lids without the slightest concern. I can’t believe how much more comfortable it is to be able to see. The reason I wish to post this review is twofold, I wanted to provide reassurance to others facing eye problems, to have every confidence in the Armadale Eye Clinic for treatment and secondly, to indicate first time patients to expect and trust in the care they will receive at this clinic. I know and can say from my own experience, the doctors and support staff are the most caring and diligent you will find, they are compassionate, experienced and above all honest. In closing may I say, Dr Anton van Heerden was prepared to go to any lengths to help me and the work and trouble he went to was simply amazing, thank you all so very much. Sincerely, Denis Scanlon

Reception staff have bad attitudes, unhelpful, bordering on rude
