I read all the reviews out of curiosity and I am shacking my head. First of all let's make clear, I am not family, not a friend. I went in for the first time about 3 years ago. ( I don't even live close by), it was my very first experience with Turkish food. I loved it and 3 years later I keep on going back. Out of lockdown Anatolian Sofra was the first place my daughter and I went to celebrate our freedom. The food has always been delicious, Lamb is our favourite it melts in your mouth and each time we choose different dips. The bread is to die for. The service has always been on point!!! Maybe give them a smile and understand that running a restaurant is not easy. neither is dealing with negative people before they sit at the table. I almost never booked and I was welcomed anyway, and a few times I went to the cinema next door and I informed them that I needed a quick meal. When I want the Dezi experience I will go there, I only wish Can Yaman would jump off the screen and drink tea with us:) As a published author of cookbooks I am giving this review knowing that every time I ate there I always been satisfied. photos take on Friday 13th 2020
Decent HSP, though dissapointed that the price keeps getting slightly higher and the quantity less. They used to do HSP drink deal, then just HSP, and now price higher, the value isnt the best.
Very lovely family restaurant. We liked the food, especially lahmacun was delicious!
It’s a great restaurant with a large range of Turkish dishes. Lamp chops were cooked perfectly, bread was fresh and everything was reasonably priced. Must try their Lacmacun! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking as it is located in Broadmeadows shopping centre.
Food was good just service slow and we had to ask for water salt napkins and glas and was to hot they had no ac we got our fans from home

I don't like to give a negative review for just the sake of it. I understand how hard it can be to run a business, so I hope owners can learn from their customer experiences and look to provide a better experience in the future. There really isn't much positive to say unfortunately. The dips were really bad, tasted almost sour. It was only 2pm and they had already run out of capsicum dip, so we tried the eggplant, carrot and humus. At least the bread was fresh. The 3 customers on the next table all complained their soups were cold, so you know that the microwave was getting a hammering. Mains took 30 mins to serve for two people with only 4 tables at the time of ordering. Salads were nice but for the price you pay, I just can't justify paying for such low quality food. People who are saying this is the best Turkish food they have had, either just came out of a 50 year coma or are family and friends. My wife said that thank God this wasn't our first date, as she would never have called me back. So many better options out there.
