Great place to fish and camp. We saw so many different sea life, fish, big tuna, bull sharks, dolphins, blue fish, sea bream, and also kangaroos on the grassland at night. It's one of our favourite places at Straddie. Good coffee nearby at the Seafood store.

Nice little netted off swimming area here and a couple of spots to eat some local fresh seafood, however the real attraction is the possibility of seeing wild humpback dolphins. Come at the right time and you might be able to see some in the crystal clear water from atop the jetty. We arrived between 4 and 5pm and managed to spot a single dolphin swimming around waiting for the fishermen scraps.
...so peaceful at this time of the year, very relaxing
Great little spot for a swim with a netted area, playground, parking, BBQ area, shower to rinse off and a jetty too.
Very clean, friendly locals and helpful staff
Great viewing platform to see all matter of sea and bird life. I have tried fishing a few times without to much success. A couple of good spots to snorkel exists around either side of the Jetty along side the rocks, you willl see some fish and coral to boot. The fist rock wall to the left of the Jetty is a good spot for beginners. Note that a deep channel runs through this area so be mindful of the current etc.
Beautiful clear water. The jetty has wild dolphins most days that come by. You can fish here and swim in a protected swimming area as they do have sharks. Camping also is right here. There is a playground and public toilets. Great time to be had by everyone.
A great diving spot. Not too deep and the current isn't too strong either. Lots of coral, fish and other cool sea life to look at. Granted the surf isn't too choppy, the water is very clear.
